The Town of Pike Road is celebrating its 27th birthday.
Town officials and distinguished guests came together Thursday for a special Founders Day event.
As part of its celebration, the town dedicated its new inclusive playground, which is still under construction.
The new park is designed with every child in mind. The equipment allows each child, no matter their condition or abilities, to safely play.
Construction is expected to wrap up in the coming weeks.
The Children’s Depot is located at 4902 Pike Road.
