At the Town of Pike Road, we like to keep things simple, including our motivation behind every decision we make. Regarding recreational development, our answer is clear: we build amenities our residents will use.

We’re always looking for ways to create spaces that unite people, encourage active lifestyles, and support a well-rounded, connected community. That’s precisely why adding our municipal tennis courts made so much sense. Located in the same town center hub as our baseball and softball complex, the Pike Road Agriculture, Recreation & Performing Arts Park, alongside our friends at Cottonwood Golf Course, these courts are a natural next step in our recreational master plan.

What’s even more exciting? They’re already being used—and making a difference. In the first few months, we’ve seen our school tennis teams practicing and competing on these courts, even advancing to state-level competition at home. That’s something we can all be proud of.

As we continue to expand our racquet sports programming, these courts also set the stage for something new: pickleball. This fast-growing sport has become a favorite across the country, and we’re excited to offer even more opportunities for our residents to stay active, engaged, and connected.

The courts are more than just a place to play—they’re part of a larger plan to enhance quality of life in Pike Road. They complement our growing list of recreational amenities and reflect our commitment to building a community where families can thrive.

We’re proud of where we are—and even more excited about where we’re headed.
